With some of the most talented experts in their respective fields, the Arrhythmia and Ablation Center at Florida Hospital has a team of physicians and support staff that has the expertise and knowledge to treat common and complex forms atrial fibrillation and heart arrhythmia issues.
The Arrhythmia and Ablation Center at Florida Hospital has a robotic catheter remote control system, otherwise known as Stereotaxis, available to treat patients with Atrrial Fibrillation (A Fib). This system allows the physician to more accurately map the location of the area to be ablated by using computerized, magnetic navigation instead of real time imaging through real-time x-rays (fluoroscopy).
The hope is that Stereotaxis will improve the patient outcome of atrial fibrillation procedures, which have proven technically demanding and very time consuming using older techniques. The new procedure offers greater accuracy and reduced surgical time frames, which are both beneficial to the patient.

Our physicians are well regarded in their respective fields and been at the leading edge of research. As such, they have published papers on many topics, not only those related to heart arrhythmias, but other important issues facing medical practitioners in the U.S. and abroad.
