Heart Attack Warning Signs

Women's Heart Attack Symptoms*:

  • Slight discomfort in the chest
  • Shortness of breath, fatigue
  • Pain below the left shoulder blade or back
  • Pain or tingling in the jaw, elbow, arm or throat

* Warning signs appear to be only stress or indigestion

Men's Heart Attack Symptoms:

  • Dramatic onset of sudden pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of the chest
  • Fainting
  • Sweating
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sudden onset of rapid heartbeats
